Senior Partner : Simon Roguska FCII
Simon Roguska secured his experience while also gaining insurance qualifications and later a fellowship. His experience in the early days was working within the commercial sector, for The Sun Alliance, later moving to an East Midlands Brokerage before establishing Heritage Insurance Services in 1983 as a partnership. The brokerage included personal lines, professional indemnity and life and pensions but as the market changed and direct insurers took to the personal lines market, Simon decided to concentrate solely upon Commercial risks and in particular on Professional Indemnity Insurances for all professions.
Partner : Lia Richardson
Lia joined the business in 1991 on a part-time basis to work on the marketing of Professional Indemnity to Accountants. She later became more and more involved in all aspects of the financial management of all aspects of the business. Lia designed and developed a unique bespoke customer service and client accounting software that would help the brokerage provide a personal service to its clients. She then seconded and worked on various consultancy contracts while also overseeing the financial aspects of the brokerage before then studying law for 3 years to develop her interest in that area relative to the insurance industry. Lia now works of all business development, finance and internal management to support the launch of PI4UK and business growth.
Renewals Broker: Bridget Yeadon
Bridget joined Heritage Insurance 5 years ago from an accounting background. She was trained specifically to deal with all client servicing, renewals and to liaise with underwriters. Bridget has recently recovered from Breast Cancer and, although she is not yet back into the full swing of the business, she is now working 20 hours a week and contributing to support the launch by looking after existing clients and their renewal needs. Bridget is well respected by the underwriters that deal with her on a day to day basis and remains content in her role as well as eager to bring on board new clients.
